Music
Uh, I haven't blogged yesterday, oops!
Big dump of music I listened between then and now:
Forma Tadre – Navigator
Dead When I Found Her – Rag Doll Blues
Izsoloscope – The Audient Void
Blush Response – Desire Machines
Newt – 37°C
Esplendor Geometrico – 1980-1989 First Decade
Underworld – European Club Gig
Statiqbloom – Mask Visions Poison
Trust – Joyland
Glass Apple Bonsaï – Glass Apple Bonsaï
One Eye Wanders – Glimpse/Recoil
Architect – Consume Adapt Create
(zzz)
Hecq – Nightfalls
Fka Twigs – Ep2
Acretongue – Strange Cargo
Cervello Elettronico – Negate The Instigator
Comaduster – Hollow Wolrds
Destroid – Loudspeaker
Mend – Vanishing Point
Carpenter Brut – EP I
Niels Binias – Enabler
V▲LH▲LL – Leaning On Shadows
Rotersand – Welcome To Goodbye
And so I found out Esplendor Geometrico will be playing at a small venue in Paris for the Sonic Protest festival. There will be also a couple of live shows in the St Merri church (a gorgeous gothic church near Centre Pompidou) which sounds cool! Too bad it's not Esplendor, that would have been incredible. But I won't miss them, wherever they might play.
Watching
Grimm is back from the meh slump it was in, I think. I'm interested in the turn the Juliet storyline is taking. What makes Grimm a good show, imho, is that there is no status quo when it comes to inter-character dynamics. Spoiler: so now, Wu is a wessen savant. It's a bit over the top but it sure is nice to have it in the team. I like Juliet as a hexenbiest. I hope she keeps it! I really loathed how it was brought into the show, but the way it's developing is really interesting.
