I'm currently in Tramadol withdrawal. It's solely my decision, although all my docs have agreed it was probably a good idea. Opiates aren't good for the GI tract and my digestion is chronically bad, and slowly getting worse. Since Laroxyl has been helping me a heap more than Tramadol ever did, I'm slowly shifting from one to another.
I've gone from 75mg a day to 25 in the span of 10 days. It wasn't awful like that time years ago I went from 100 to 75 (go figure) but the more days pass the more I notice my increasing joint pain. :/ I think it's probably at least as much due to the brutal weather change. I'm still really committed to staying eventually at 25 and maybe withdrawing completely, but I might take the last steps even slower. I also do not sleep well, as pain wakes me up regularly and i have to shift position carefully to put strain on another shoulder, bend my spine differently, and so on. All night long.
I'm tired and sore, and I had a bad pain in my upper back yesterday, so I tried to stay away from sewing (bad for the back) and knitting (terrible for my shoulders, still) too much.
Photography
I did organise my sewing patterns and took tons of pictures of Lucinda the BJD and Punky the cat, to test the lifespan of the camera batteries. I have two that hold ok, and two that are as good as dead. So I should be fine for Friday but I'd better get a new, third one to be safe for later events.
