Music

Woke up with Ninetynine and rubbernecking on Ravelry, which is a perfect Saturday morning if you ask me. Then more Haujobb (Solutions...) and finally listened to the new year's drunken podcast from Idie:youdie while doing my ablutions. It was tons of fun ! I don't know why I didn't listen to it sooner, I could listen to these two talk about anything, really, cheese shopping or whatever (this is actually a terrible example, I think I'd subscribe to a podcast on cheese shopping, it sounds cool, in fact, doesn't it?)

Then I switched to Gas Alarm!!! by Proyecto Mirage to shake myself up a bit before lunch.

Then I lent an ear to some old Noise Unit but I have to confess I have never been a big FLA fan and this was very FLA-y, so it wasn't bad at all, but didn't do much for me at all. And it felt pretty grim to listen to, so I moved on and listened to the latest Welle:Erdball lol (how's that for NOT grim?) which was fun for a little while and then I switched to ∆Aimon. I'm impatient today, apparently?

Food

I went for to our favourite asian supermarket to buy habanero puree and kimchi and on the way back, I passed a take away shop that makes all kinds of finger food and bought the sweet fried sesame balls filled with soybean cream I used to eat as a child with my best friend. I had one for tea and it made me feel nostalgic and happy. :)
Then we had takeaway Pho for dinner with Clémentine. Hmmm.

Watching

We rewatched The Crow together. She's also very fond of that movie so she was the perfect companion. I live tweeted this, so I don't have much to add. Still the same, beautiful, sad and dark, over the top, very often ridiculous, overall great music and great memories linked to it.
