I made a few gothy outfits for Lucinda. I'm glad I finally got started on making her clothes. It's immediate gratification (although not everything turns out how I want it too, of course). I took a couple of photos (more portraits oriented since I don't have any really nice place to pose her).

Unfortunately, the black leggings I made her slightly leached dye on her joints and feet (ugh! And it was prewashed fabric ffs). There's a special kind of sponge that you can buy at the supermarket that is good to clean resin dolls. I was starting to fret about the wear and tear on the doll but I'm starting to make peace with it. I don't want it to live in a box, and to never get touched. And it's just the blush and a bit of staining, not actual damage. The day I decide I am ready to blush her myself, I can strip her clean and redo her entirely and she'll be as good as new.
I know I can blush a doll, I've done plenty of MH. But the prospect of working with expensive resin is nerve wracking. I'd love first to buy a blank spare head (you can unmount and switch heads on a body) and practice on it first, before undoing the beautiful original paint job that cost an eye.
Oh, I finally got the trick to get that bloody giraffe with extra joints to stand on her own. Whee! Now I have to make a pretty backdrop (I made a cushion out of some fabric samples
