Sunday/Things I consumed: much music, Hunger Games, The Code

I listened to a bunch of stuff in the morning, Grimes, Purity Ring, Meat Beat Manifesto, Haujobb, The Soft Moon. We had lunch with Math and he headed out for a game of Warhammer 40k with a friend. I listened to some Enduser, Wulfband and De/Vision until Clémentine arrived.

Watching

We watched Hunger Games together, which I had never seen. I loved it! I'm really clueless, in the sense that I don't pay attention to the promotion made around movies in general, no matter how big they are, so apart from a couple of promo pics, I hadn't seen much, or anything regarding this. I usually really dislike trailers since half of them spoil the entire movie. So yeah, 2015 and I barely knew what the Hunger Games was about.

I found the characters relatable, and the plot very gripping. They got me on the edge of my seat till the end. Spoilers: Rue was my favourite. And the rebellion scene in her district made me tear up. I was quite happy to see plastic bag boy from American Beauty too, despite the beard.

I watched the first episode of The Code too, after Clémentine's recommendation. Because Lucy Lawless. It's promising although I need brains to watch it, which I'm lacking somewhat at the moment. Clémentine is a but mad because I didn't wait for her to start a Xena rewatch. I think she was looking forward to howling at the moon and making period blood sacrifices together, or maybe it's just me?
