Wore Dzing again. It's a very safe and comforting perfume. Fierce too. :p
Music
Put on Mono Amine when Math started coding, for extra power. Then Mend, DSX, Carpenter Brut, Boards Of Canada (guys, I have been trying for so long but I just find them boring!) and Blush Response (I'm so bummed he's not opening for The Soft Moon in Paris, when he's touring all over Europe with them, why??)
Then worked a bit on a mixtape (not the same as yesterday haha), and went out to have coffee and read at Cream. Turns out walking to rue de Belleville and back (so 15 min total) with more than an hour rest in between is still too much for me in a day. I hurt my leg a bit and was rather bummed. But the coffee was delicious!
I was prompted by a tweet to listen to Depeche Mode's Violator, which had just turned 25 years old. My best friend in high school loved DM and I remember I was rather indifferent (then I made her listen to Neubauten but that's another story). I'm actually just recently discovering the joys of DM. It's weird because given the bands I listened to back then, it's an oddity that I wasn't into them.
I worked on a mixtape more, but another (third) one lol. I'm making a happy one, on the eclectic side, which should be ready this weekend.
Listened to 12 Têtes Mortes by Les Tétines Noires. It's so hard to find pictures of the band online ! I wish I had the photos I took of their shows when I was in high school. Meh. I used to be a hardcore fan (borderline groupie). They used to perform in super small venues or goth clubs, their shows were wild. Once they did this performance in a goth party where they set up a small tent that could accommodate the band and two visitors at a time and they'd play a couple of songs for the two guests who would listen with headphones (since the party was going on outside the tent). So cool. (Yeah, I queued several times, along with the couple of rabid fans I had gotten to know by then from all the concerts.) It was actually for 12 Têtes Mortes. I didn't remember this album being so hard! It's probably a little self consciousness inflicting it to Math as well that's giving me this feeling.

Got to bed early to read and fell asleep listening to Stendeck. Gah, the cat was a cunt all night!
