Health

I had my first actual walk since the hernia yesterday. I went to Jaurès by bus and then walked along the canal down to Faubourg St Martin, and then my way up to Belleville. It felt great and the weather was gorgeous. My leg actually doesn't hurt while I walk (I did get a ton of blisters though because of the heat), and today it isn't too bad at all. The weather brutally changed though (we lost almost 10° between today and yesterday) so I'm all achy but I don't think it has anything to do with the walk.

Perfume

I wore Lolita from Bpal, a favourite of mine (a white floral, with mostly orange blossom and heliotrope).

Music

I listened to the new Black Nail Cabaret, which I need to buy (we'll see at the end of the month ^^) and then a playlist while I was walking. I made a quick mixtape in the evening with stuff I listened to a lot while I was stuck at home. So, many songs that I can relate to when I'm sick (and some because I just love them). I bought my ticket for Youth Code, and Róisín Murphy announced that she's be playing at the Trabendo in november. Tickets are only 22€ so I might be able to afford it.

Food

I made a stop at Cream on my way home because my feet were killing me (and also, the call of good coffee was too strong). I read there for about an hour while sipping a bottomless cup of delicious filter coffee (yeah, couldn't afford a crème, but it was delicious anyway!).

Watching

Oh dear, The Comeback is a slow train wreck you can't get your eyes off. I only have 3 episodes left of the first season. Valerie Cherish is slowly turning into Peggy Bundy (both the hair and the BSC).

We also watched the Good Wife finale with Math and yeah, I agree with him, the show might have jumped the shark. Spoilers: Peter running for president?? In what universe does that make even remotely sense? Also, Finn, I am disappointed in you. Poor Alicia is stuck between her sleazy faux-band and good guys who run away from her. Crap. I have no clue what to expect from the last season. I really hope they won't make another campaign story-line because fuck that. I'm not sure I'm on board with Alicia and Marty McFly fight crime either. I don't know. I never complain when Michael J. Fox makes an appearance and I am very fond of his character, but he's turned into a bit of an one trick pony. I really liked that episode with Finn and Alicia working together, they have a good chemistry and it makes a lot of sense (a lot more than Alicia and Canning), it's too bad!

Reading

Still in the middle of The Left Hand Of Darkness. I don't have the energy nor focus to read much. I even went to sleep without music last night, I was so tired! But I have multiple nightmares every night, probably from the change in medication. I hope this passes soon, ugh.
