This has been a very quiet weekend overall. I was supposed to go to a party yesterday with Math but I had a bad bout of hypoglycemia and took hours to recover so I ended up staying home. It doesn't happen as often as it used, though!
Perfume
I'm wearing Dzing! right now. Leathery, animalistic and quite dry on me.
Music
We've listened to tons of things during the weekend, Be My Enemy, Author & Punisher, Immortal Technique, Coil, Architect, Perturbator, The Present Moment, more Tiamat.
This morning I woke up quite early and listened to Click Click, then Grendel and Destroid and the energetic music got me motivated to work out. I'm at the point where I'm almost sore all the time between workouts. Working on my pushups and getting closer to the 3min plank goal (2:30 min, w00t!).
I also listened to the Idie:Youdie podcast from 10 days ago. I'm still not caught up. I don't know how I manage to get so behind on it, since I enjoy listening to it very much.
Crafting
I am back to working on my Broken seed stitch socks (one is almost finished, and I have just completed the heel on the other one). I also cast on my Aska in Einband yarn, because knitting with tiny DPNs is making me sore on the long run. The Aska is growing super fast, I'm already on the fourth colour band on the body (knitting it top down, because honestly? Bottom up? No way).
Watching
I found the latest Hannibal episode a tad cheesy. The orange tiger and some other visuals bothered me a little. I liked how close it was to Manhunter and to the canon.
We also watched the Great British Bake Off yesterday at lunchtime. I'm already very fond of a few contestants. Looks like it's going to be a good one, again!
I started marathoning The Following yesterday since I was stuck at home, but honestly, it isn't that great. Lots of borderline soapy drama, very little investigation and mystery. Super trope-y, almost feels like it was written by an angsty teenager. Also, the music, ugh! Pilots opens and ends with “Sweet Dreams” by Manson, then the Deftones, Sepultura... Is it 1995 all over again? Is Oliver Stone involved? Yeah, I'd probably be better off re-watching Fringe or Millennium (this show is a super downer, but Bishop).
